Hello!

Like many creatives, I don't do well talking about myself, but I'll give it a shot.

Los Angeles is the city I call home even though I've been living in the suburbs with my family for over 15 years now. My family is composed of my husband and I and our three kids and two dogs, Hulk and Luna.

During the day I work as an editor, and early in the morning, late at night, or somewhere in between I edit my first novel, write a blog post or an article for my newsletters, or draw. My secret desire is to one day be a writing and art teacher, but for now, I'm sticking with writing, editing, making art, and sharing what I learn or have learned along the way.

Inspiration for my art and writing comes from being born and raised in Los Angeles within its Zapotec community.
